How social media affects your focus
Social media can be fun, but also overwhelming. For someone with ADHD, the constant stream of stimuli can lead to distraction, procrastination, and a sense of restlessness. It's not your fault, the system is designed to grab attention.
Smart scrolling: tips for a healthy digital balance
It is understandable that completely removing social media from your life is almost no longer possible. That is why I have a few tips for you, so that you can at least ensure it has significantly less control over your life.
Plan your moments: choose fixed times to check apps.
Turn off notifications: limit distractions by only keeping important notifications enabled.
Choose consciously: follow accounts that inspire and energize you, not accounts that cause stress or insecurity.
Reflect: notice how you feel after scrolling. Does it give you energy or does it cost you energy?

Setting boundaries without FOMO
It is okay to temporarily delete apps or take breaks. You are not missing out on anything truly important. It helps your focus, your mood, and your self-confidence. By consciously choosing when and how you use social media, you stay in control instead of letting it take over you.
