Hi, I'm Chiara Monica, ADHD coach for women

I have personally experienced what it is like to constantly stumble over your own thoughts and to struggle with planning, structure, and self-confidence.

Because of this, I know how important it is to have someone who truly understands what you are going through. My mission is to help you find peace, control, and self-love in your daily life.

"Even as a little girl in primary school, I was already hearing: 'You have so much potential, if only you would live up to it...'"

My background

My background

I know firsthand what it feels like to live in a system that is not designed for people like you and me. I started at vmbo-t (pre-vocational secondary education), and eventually stacked my way up to university. But that path was not without its hurdles.

All those years, I had the feeling that I was different — that learning, planning, and living the way one was 'supposed' to, took me more effort than others. That I was constantly adapting, overcompensating, and above all: surviving.

What people didn't see was that I was already fighting incredibly hard. Until I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 22 — and suddenly everything fell into place. Since then, I have truly started getting to know my brain.

I stopped trying to become who I thought I was supposed to be, and started discovering what actually works for me. I didn't want to survive anymore, I wanted to live! I wish that same shift for you as well!

My vision on coaching

My vision on coaching

From adapting to the norm to living on your own terms — that is what I help women with ADHD (or characteristics of it) with. Not by 'fixing' them, but by bringing them back in touch with who they already are at their core — because you are so much more than your obstacles.

Constantly adapting, pleasing, compensating, and feeling 'not enough' is a thing of the past. I do not coach on symptoms, but on solutions. No standard tricks, but practical guidance that starts from your unique brain.

Graduation research and ADHD coaching training

Graduation research and ADHD coaching training

During my graduation research in 2024, I spoke with female students with ADHD about how they experience their place at university. What touched me was how great the need is for real support for women with ADHD — a group that is much larger and more diverse than is often thought.

This realization set me in motion: I want to do more than just research, I want to truly help women. Not by changing them, but by guiding them in discovering what does work for their unique brain — so they can create a life that truly suits them and makes them happy.

After my research, I immediately started the ADHD-Nederland coach training at Eerste Verdieping Opleidingen.

This training taught me the importance of customization and strengthening your own resources. This allows me to guide women with ADHD even better in discovering what really works for them — with understanding, compassion, and practical tools. That is how I help you find your own path and live on your own terms.

My approach

In my coaching, we will explore together which patterns are holding you back, which resources you already have within you, and how you can use them to make choices that truly suit you.

You will learn to transform unhelpful beliefs into helpful habits, and receive tools to actually apply them in your daily life.

You don't just learn to function better
you learn to appreciate yourself again. And that is exactly the core of my work: You do not have to become different. You only have to become yourself again.
